Matagorda County Teen Court
Matagorda County Teen Court is looking for
volunteers the first, second, and third Tuesdays of
each month. Teen Court meets from 5 to 7 p.m. at the
Bay City Municipal Court Building on Sixth Street.

Energy Program
The Community Action Committee of Victoria is accepting
applications for a weatherization program in Matagorda County.
This program can install measures to reduce energy usage
in low-income residences. To request an application,

Salvation Army needs Food Donations
The Salvation Army Food Pantry in Bay City desperately needs
non-perishable food donations. Donations can be taken to
their office at 1911 7th Street in Bay City during business
hours. They are depleted and all help will be appreciated!
Overeaters Anonymous of Wharton
Holds meetings each Monday at 6:30 p.m. at
the First Methodist Church located at 1717 Pioneer in Wharton.
Matagorda County Birding & Nature Center
Hosts Kids in Action Day the second Saturday of each month.
Hands-on crafts and activities for the kids from 9 a.m. to noon.
Parents tour trails and gardens while the children participate
in supervised activities.
SPCA
Financial assistance is available for financially disadvantaged
pet owners in Matagorda, Jackson, and Wharton Counties. Call the
Matagorda County SPCA to inquire if you qualify to get your pet spayed
or neutered.

Your area Crime Stoppers needs your help in solving crimes.
If you have information about a crime in your area you are asked
